Photographs - Hong Kong 2000
We nearly did not visit Victoria peak during our trip to Hong Hong, which would have been a disaster in hindsight. All day the peak had been in the clouds and the heavy rain had put us off this tourist trip.

We were travelling back to Kowloon from Hong Kong Island for about the sixth time during the day, looking over the stern of the ferry disappointed that the weather had stopped us travelling to the peak. Within minutes the sun came out and the clouds cleared. It was now a beautiful afternoon and the trip was back on, stayed sat on the ferry we managed to fair dodge the six pence fair and once again disembarked on Hong Kong Island.

The trip to Victoria Peak is via cable car, seen here, a steep ride with fabulous views.
